The reviewer misses the target audience.
Pages is meant for home users - thus lacks Revision functionality etc.

While that's true, I think they gave the apps a pretty good once over. I think they got it pretty much right.

Fair review. It is a good but not great app. Even though the target audience is for home users, apple will always want to produce top notch apps. The spell check could use some improvement. Pages 2 will be ultra solid, i'm sure. Hope apple also comes up with a spreadsheet app soon!

Revisions and other features which Pages lacks can be very useful for students. Oh well though, I still use it because even if I can get Office Pro for $150 (or whatever my university sells it for) I don't want some bloated software with extra apps I don't need (like excel) that crashes all the time.
