Rev A and Rev B displays?

I think this might be my final question in my quest to buy a monitor. I've decided on buying one of the last generation cinema displays (unless someone can convicne me a Formac Platinum 2010 is better with color, but i don't think it's swop certified). I'm just wondering, were there different makes of the 20'? There seem to be two that are slightly different in appearence. And if so, how can i recognise which one is more up-to-date when buying online?
