941x410 is this going to be way too wide to use on the web? _ The main part of the site I know will fit all browsers and monitors just fine but the dark grey section over the black is maybe too large? How can I still use the grey section and allow the site to shrink and expand to the size of the monitor. Any help?? THANKS

I'm sure there are other ways to do it, but you could use a table, and use the background colors for each cell to create the lines. Make the whole table 100% width. Make the center image a fixed width, and the cells on each side can be specified with a percentage. 1 px lines would be made using 1 px table cells.

Yes 910 is to wide for 8x6, which is still the standard. I usually design at 750, and you can go up to 760, but going any larger will vary from browser to browser on what is acceptable. You can do what wordmunger was saying and make it a Background. Thats actually what I would recomend doing.
