... and yes, I am speaking the truth. I called the Tampa Apple store for a friend to see about installing an airport card in his Mac Mini( freakin' daughtercard, so retarded), and after the umpteenth ring, I am greeted by " Good morning, Apple Store Tampa, this is Danika, how can I help you?.."
I was like "wha?????" I asked here her name again, and she said it was Danika. So after finding out that they have the daughtercards there and they can install it, I hung up to tell my friend/coworker that I just got off the phone with Danika from Apple,
He told me that I was a friggin' idiot, and that there was no way I spoke to Steve's assistant. Then I told him the whole story, yeah, he left and said I'm a dork. (But i saw him take the mini to go to the Apple store...)

There that's the end of my REALLY exciting story for the day. :rolleyes:

In any large company, there are people who share the same first name. Danika is unusual but just putting the name into Google brings up 10 different women... and a few Dobermann's. And a Danika at Apple who works with iPods.

I think that Danika is a very nice young lady. In another thread about a replacement for Steve jobs, I mentioned her as a good choice. If I heard that name on the other end of the phone, think that I might just ask, are you the same Danika that did the iChat with Steve during MWSF? I wouldn't have a problem asking.

I just found out that she is the Tampa Apple store Manager. ( Side note, yeah, um the really fubar'd the AirPort problem. Yeah, um you can't get a daughtercard from the store, and they can't even order it because they don't even have a Part number for it.... AWSOME..... Way to help the switchers...
