Among cities you didn't list, I suspect Philadelphi, PA would have the same union issues as NYC, although there are plenty of hotels aroudn the convention center and it's right next to Philadelphia Chinatown.

In Philly, the hotels are all walking distance.
As are plenty of restaurants.

Of course there are many who don't care either because they won't make the Summer MacWorld (for whatever reason) or they have to travel no matter what.

Maybe we need a poll... "Where would you least like to see the Summer MacWorld?"

Boston -- it'll make me less unhappy if I'm not able to go (i was unable to go this year, and living in NJ, it was bad being so close and yet so far), and if I can go, then I'll get to eat lots of seafood. :D

i said nyc. it's just the hub. and i'm biased cause it's easier for me to get to

that said, boston would be good.... don't see atlanta or chicago myself...

I wouldn't mind seeing it come to DC - we need to get the area more Apple aware - especially with the fact that the Hill is almost all PC.

And even if it moved to a different major East Coast city every year, that would be great as well - spread the word as much as possible.

I want it to stay in NY. I wish it was still in NY and apple was still doing it. Now I won't have a chance to spend considerable amounts of money on apple t-shirts, mac accessories, and a pass to the keynote. How unfortunate! ;) :p :D
