After years of following Apple, I just have to say how good it feels to see articles like this popping up in the mainstream press.

It's about time! :D

Yeah -- is it me or are we in a real sea-change period?

I've never seen this amount of hype for Apple...

If I was smart I would probably buy some stock, even though its pretty high right now.

I like to think I'm smart but I guess smarts only gets you halfway when you have no money. Back to my Top-Ramen for me. :(

Congratulations to Apple for a great marketing job. Finally Apple is getting the attention that it deserves. This helps us also.

All the kids that are getting iPods today are going to buy Mac's in the future. Apple will dominate the desktop within 10 years - maybe sooner.

As far as the Mac Mini - it may just end up dominating the living room  I can't wait to delete all the lame pay channels from my Comcast account and start watching Hi-Def movies on demand - ala Apple's iMovie <dream> Store. Can you imagine searching for movies the same way we can currently search for songs? Apple is setting itself up for a streaming Hi-Def movie store with the Mac Mini as its hub IMHO. The future is looking bright for Apple :D

Wave of cold water, incoming!

All the good Mac Mini press won't last. The Mini will STILL sell well, I'm sure, but, prepare yourselves for ANY little issue to be magnified by some "journalists." There's a certain type out there, hopping up and down and gnawing their knuckles hoping for some little thing... Such as a small number of Minis arriving dented, being reported on forums, and turning into "Macheads In Turmoil Over Widespread Defective Minis"... and "Mini Less Overpriced... But Can Apple Make Them More Reliable?" ... or some such thing. Without, of course, comparing to other companies...

I placed my bet on the original iMac to get hordes of idiot PC users to switch. Never happened. Can the mini do what the iMac could not? Hmmm..

At 1/3 the price of the BondiMac, and on the heels of the iPod... maybe so!
