Is iKlear spray safe for trackpad?

I only ask because the instructions that come with it tell you to use the cleaning cloth "dry" for trackpads...? But only the spray will clean out the marks left by our fingers...will the spray damage the glass coating or something? I don't see how it could, screen is all glass.

Do you use the spray on the cloth when cleaning your trackpads? Any issues?
