that is so point less
the steel will not protect it. it will just make it badder the ipod on raw steel it needs like some foam and lots of it for that case

C'mon guys... it's just a hobbyist project done by a guy who likes to do custom metal work as much as he likes his iPod.

I have a friend that knits iPod cases. Not because they're great protection, but because she likes to knit and thought it would be fun to do.
