Trying to obtain ECID - ATV2 not recognized in System Profiler

Sorry if this has been covered, searched around but couldn't find anything.

I'm trying to get my ECID to save SHSH blobs via TinyUmbrella. However, when I open System Profiler, the ATV2 is not at all recognized under USB. iTunes is seeing the ATV2, but not System Profiler.

Any suggestions? I'm still not 100% sure I'm going to go through with the Jailbreak, but I would like to grab my SHSH blobs so I have the option. Thanks for any help.
 
Nope, it's not being recognized. iTunes sees it, but TinyUmbrella and System Profiler don't see it. Any ideas?
 
Disregard previous message. I got it to work but using AC power as well. All tutorials mentioned that it should only be connected via USB, but when I added power, it worked. It just backed up 2 SHSHs; 4.2 and 4.2.1. Is this normal? Thanks.
