IMO Apples flagship store as they call it should have had powerbooks available today, spend 20 minutes on hold to ask them, then decided to drive down to pick one up, assumed they would have because its their main store, but oh no i have to wait until wednesday/thursday :(

This could be because of the recent update in the Powerbook family.. ;)
It takes some time to get them shipped..

What exactly is a "flagship store"?

A larger store, generally in a major world city (NYC, Chicago, San Francisco, London, Tokyo, Ginza(?)), with a theatre, a very long Genius Bar and a glass staircase.

Definition: A flagstore is the main or best retail outlet in a chain (here depending on the country).
