please help my with my problem
i have a power mac g5 1.8ghz dual with the mainboard broken and i found to buy a mainboard from a g5 2.0ghz dual

can i buy this mainboard, it's compatible ?

It depends which 2.0G5 the mainboard is from - try matching Model Identifiers. Also be warned, without the rare-as-hens-teeth fan calibration CD (Apple Service Diagnostic 2.5.8 I believe), your fans will run at full tilt on the new mainboard.

I will give you the serial number from the new mainboard when i will have it.

The part with the fans it's not a problem :)

A simple Google search will find it. It's VERY easy to find.
