Hey guys i am very active with sports, i love hitting the gym everyday but they only thing i cant stand doing is the stationary bikes thingy. I have to do about 30-40 mins of that and i just hate sitting and i get bored relly fast.

I need you guys to recommend some music (artiests, albums) for me, i like everything except country (westren). I dont mind listing to anything else, so your 1-2 artiests alumbs would really help me. Thanks.

Workout Songs (http://www.dailytunes.com/songlist.php?mode=theme&genreid=39)

I particularly enjoy The Fuel by the Sneaker Pimps and Name of the Game by Crystal Method for biking.

You might also check out Chemical Brothers (http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewAlbum?playlistId=18762893&selectedItemId=18762871).

I do alot of biking and jamming to music and find that (although not my fav genre) electronic music is GREAT because it provides a great rythm to cycle to. Metallica and other stuff also works.

I really don't know what types of music you like. If you don't mind Chemical Brothers, then by all means. It has no lyrics (or not much at all), and I generally can't listen to this type of music for a long time. Mix it up. I prefer well-paced songs by a variety of artists, regardless of genre.

The song doesn't even have to be fast, as long as the beat provides a good rhythm.

I don't even need to LIKE the song. :p

Songs I have on my Jogging playlist are:
--------------------------

The Streets: Turn The Page, Its Too Late

The Stills: Lola Stars and Stripes, Changes Are No Good

K-OS: Follow Me, Man I Used To Be

M83: Unrecorded

Jamiroquai: Alright, Hidden Track 1 ("Do You Know Where You're Coming From"), Love Foolosophy, Little L, You Give Me Something

Muse: Plug In Baby

Radiohead: Idioteque

Outkast: Rosa Parks, Ghettomusick

Danger Mouse and Jay-Z: Dirt Off Your Shoulder

Postal Service: Such Great Heights, Natural Anthem

Kanye West: Two Words

Snow Patrol: Gleaming Auction

Lemon Jelly: Stay With You

Broken Social Scene: Almost Crimes, KC Accidental

DJ Shadow: Organ Donor, Right Thing

The Hives: Die All Right, Hate To Say I Told You So

The Rapture: House Of Jealous Lovers

Justin Timberlake: Like I love You (I know I know :p )

Röyksopp: Eple

Scissor Sisters: Comfortably Numb (yeah, I hate you too! )

------------------

Note that Jamiroquai has a lot of songs on the list because it's basically dance music but with lyrics and singing, which is cool. :)

Even though I think they're just an OK band, a lot of people I know who go to the gym listen to the album "Danse Macabre" by The Faint.

I mostly listen to 80's stuff when I'm in the gym. Can't beat stuff like Missing Persons, Talking Heads, The Cars, Depeche Mode, New Order, etc.
