Some people have asked about what the operating system was like in the early days. Mac Addict has not really updated their X-Philes since that time. They have plenty of info and screen shots from way back when.

Man, that was a trip down memory lane... and the damn operating system's only a year and a half old! :p

i was wondering wha the old version of osx looked like but i was wondering wha the top bar looked like (mainly) but i havent seemed to find a pic of that yet (cuz i saw a pic once with an apple logo in the middle of the bar n i thought it was a lil odd)

I still have that on disc somewhere.... from late 99 early 2000 I think....

I must say I quite like having the Apple logo in the middle of the bar.......

OSX has changed so much though since then.......

The Apple logo in the middle of the menu bar looked good, but was totally impractical for the simple reason of if a program had a lot of menu items, it would run into the logo. And if I remember correctly, the Apple didn't do anything (as in no Apple menu).
