This is a new Apple iBook G4 1.25GHz with 764MB RAM (up from the standard 256MB) and a Spymac custom carrying case (designed and made specifically for this laptop, with padded shock protection and lock).

Here are the specs:

* 1.2 GHz PowerPC G4 processor with 133 MHz Frontside Bus
* 764 MB DDR SDRAM expandable to 1.25 GB (standard is 256MB)
* 30 GB ATA/100 hard drive; 8x DVD Read / 24x CD-R / 16x CD-RW / 24x CD Read
* 12.1 inch TFT XGA display; ; AirPort Extreme built-in
* Mac OS X version 10.3 Panther, Classic environment, Mail, iChat AV, Safari, Sherlock, Address Book, QuickTime, iLife (includes iTunes, iPhoto, iMovie, iDVD (5), GarageBand), iSync, iCal, DVD Player, AppleWorks, Mac OS X Chess and more
* Made to fit Spymac carrying case, with anti-shock compartment and combination lock.

The only reason I am selling this is because I must have 100% compatability with Windows based hardware and operating systems (especially Microsoft Office Suite).

This laptop is $999 at the Apple Store, and was $899 after a $100 rebate through Amazon. I added an additional 512MB RAM. The Spymac case is absolutely perfect.

I will trade for a IBM Thinkpad T40, T41 or T42 that has a Pentium M 1.5 or greater processor, 512MB RAM, and a CD-RW/DVD optical drive. Depending on your Thinkpad model and specs, either you or I can add $$$ to make the trade work. I will add as much as $350 for a mint T42.

I am an attorney with a stellar reputation and will guarantee all representations in writing. I will provide very detailed photos upon request.

I also have the original receipt showing this was purchased on 12/21/04 (about a month ago), all original packing material, accessories and software. This laptop has been used eight hours at most (closer to six hours in reality).

Thank you.

You can get Microsoft Office for Mac...pretty much 100% compatible with the windows version.

I think the cheapest I've seen it for (the Full Suite version) is $340, though.

If no Thinkpads out there, first $875 (firm) takes everything.

I hate dealing with ebay.

Okay, a trade is appearing to be too difficult/complex to work out.

This package is for sale: $875 firm. Goes on ebay in three days.

I hate ebay.

Thanks.

Thanks.

I'm interested in a trade. I have a Ibm T41 in mint condition.

Specs found here (http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/product.do?subcategoryind=0&familyind=154110&brandind=10&doccategoryind=0&modelind=154838&doctypeind=3&validate=true&partnumberind=0&template=%2Fproductpage%2Flandingpages%2FproductPageLandingPage.vm&operatingsystemind=49979&machineind=154837)

This also includes the extra 512mb of Ram that I ordered with it. This system has the extended three year warranty fom IBM. Perfect condition, includes original box and everything.

I paid $1,974.00 for this system and ram before shipping from newegg.com on 05/17/2004.

Ebay feedback under name intendedacceleration.

Gotta love my hand in the way of the one photo. Don't worry about the glare on the screen in the one photo - it's from the direct flash (I couldn't figure out how to turn the flash off of my wife's digicam - doh!!!). :D

This is what happens when my wife isn't around to help me.
