Can you watch full TV shows on YouTube via aTV in UK?

I have an Apple TV 1G, I know it has YouTube but never really used it. So is there anything "proper" to watch, rather than daft clips (which I like btw!) in UK?

I'm talking about past TV shows, mini series etc? How do you search? Just the normal way? I know certain TV channels have a dedicated TV YouTube channel in, eg Channel 4 - how do I find those?

While YouTube has quite a few TV shows and repeats I'm afraid you can not watch them from your ATV. I've tried subscribing to a show on my computer and then accessing my subscriptions from the ATV but they still dont show up :mad:

mmm why is this then? What's different about YouTube on aTV than on a Mac?

Its a rights issue thing. Presumably you're on about 4od? Its the same thing on the PS3, you could not access shows until Channel 4 specifically made a 4od platform for it.

As you still can't get 4od on other ios devices, its probably going to be awhile. Iplayer however is available so we may see that on ATV at some point...
