Hi guys.

I'm so confused.. Just got some insurance money for for my old MacBook(2008 model).
I har to choose either the Mac pro 13,3" because I need or I think I née the power when I use it for mkv files on my flatscreen. But the mac air is so nice! And I only heard good about it. I already have an iPad. So I don't think the Mac will be used that much. What to do?

All depends on your needs and what you do with the machine. Doesn't sound you have lots of 'requirements'. If you are no Power User and can live with the smaller harddrives in the Air, you should go with the Air - they feel insanely fast thanks to the SSD and you won't have to wait for any apps to startup.

Thanks.
Some say and some shown on YouTube that it doesn't handle HD that well. I do a bit Xcode, adope cs5 flash and alot of pictures. I'm almost up for bying the Mac mini. But I also study and I don't want to write papers on my flatscreen. Dilemma. Hate apple for making so many great machines.

on my 11.6" 1.6ghz 4gb model... 1080p flash on youtube like big buck bunny works flawlessly.

i also played a 6gb VLC MKV BRR without issues!

I have the same setup (11" Ultimate) and it handles HD as well as my 15" i5 MacBook Pro...
