need help

I currently own a 27inch imac quad i5, really over bought for my needs mainly a internet, email, etc. I also own a 64gb ipad 3g which I rarely use. I am trying to decide to either replace the ipad and get a macbook air 11 or maybe go with the macbook air 13 as a main computer and replace both the imac and ipad. I would like to know what people think and maybe if other people have done this. Will I regret not having the desktop, use the macbook air more,etc. Wife just got a macbook air 13 ultimate and really likes it, I also enjoy using it.

I have a large 30" display on my desk for viewing photos and sometimes video. It's awesome for that and for occasional use when I have lots of programs and windows open at the same time. If I never used my computer for any of the above, I would use a MacBook all the time like a lot of people do. Assess your needs and decide accordingly.
