PB 17 in. is $2699. upgrade to 2 gigs of memory, and add applecare for a grand total of $3898. add a typical 8% sales tax (e.g. Illinois, California) and end up with $4209.

Jamie was just generalizing I believe. I think he know's they're expensive. Then again Cruise could've bought the 17" and upgraded as said in the earlier post. I wonder if Apple saw it and is going to hook him up.
