Does anyone know if this drive will fit and work in the previous gen MacBook Air? I suspect it might be too high (8mm).

just like the 80 GB iPod classic, the hard drive is 1.8" wide and 5 mm tall.

However, Toshiba just announced (http://www.macrumors.com/2011/01/28/new-toshiba-hard-drives-could-boost-ipod-classic-to-220-gb/) up to 220GB 1.8" 5mm HD

Looks like I'll have to wait for the new Toshiba. Thanks for the heads-up.
