Dr. No

I have a new Power Mac G5 running 10.3.7. I have been experiencing issues where a beachball cursur appears, and the entire system freezes. I have to unplug the CPU itself, not even holding the power button on the front turns it off.
In one month's time, it froze first when I woke it up from sleep, the second time in Disk Utility, and the third time in Finder when I was copying a file.
I need help, as I have NEVER experienced these issues with my Blue & White, running the same OS (Panther). Four major crashes in one month is a lot for a new computer, with a modern OS.
