I just got an 11-inch MBA and I'm loving it. I do have a question for those who use it with an external monitor. I hook it up to a 22-inch monitor via DVI. How do you deal with the applications' window sizes when going to a big monitor?
For example, on the MBA screen I have the Firefox window set the way I like it. When I use the external monitor, it stays the same size as if it were still showing on the MBA screen. So, I want Firefox to be bigger. But if I make it bigger, how will the window look when I go back to the MBA screen? Will it get resized, or will it go out of the screen? Same goes for the Apple Mail window. Sometimes I wish OS X would remember window sizes and have a real maximize button like Windows.
