Iphone Data extension cables that work?

Hello all,

I just purchased the Atomic Hybrid case which I must say is the best case ever, no signal loss that I can tell. The problem is there is not enough room to fit my Kenwood dock cable between the case so I need an extension cable that will plug into it.

I picked up a couple of these ( I have 2 cars ) and they do fit within the case but for some reason I get no audio with the extension cable plugged in. I also tried plugging it into a Ipod classic just to make sure and the same thing, no audio. It comes up with the artist on the radio and shows the tracks playing but no sound at all.

Anyone have any ideas of extension cables that are small enough to fit on these cases that actually work?

I just read the user reviews and it looks like a couple of people are having the same problem with audio. Not sure I want to take my chance with this one either.

Does anyone know if there is an OEM Apple extension cable?

Those are nice but on the pricey side since i need a total of 3 of them. Just found this on on e bay which guarantees it will pass audio.
