As I say in the title, this is just a feeler, possibly could turn into a deal if people are interested.
I'm looking at trading the PowerBook in my sig, except I will replace the 1GB ram stick with the 256 I had in it, for a total of 512. I will include my 17 Samsung SyncMaster 170MP external LCD display. This is one of those multi-function displays that can has a TV tuner and other AV ports built-in and a remote. It also has PIP so you can work on the computer and have a small box either with TV or some other input (say a DVD player of videogam system) going as well.
My ideal trade would be 15" 1.00-1.33Ghz PowerBook with Extreme Card. I am looking to upgrade my laptop to a bigger display since I spend quite a bit of time not at home. The ram is not a big deal as I will be putting my 1Gb stick in, and a combo drive is fine as well. I just want to see if this type of trade is even possible or if I am trying to get too much.
Thanks for looking.
P.S. I also have an iSight so if people want to see everything in person I can easily show it to you. I can also post pictures of anything if someone is interested.

I guess it's not a very good deal, oh well. I'll just stick with what I have for a while, no big deal.

Would you sell the display seperately?

I was really hoping to trade both at the same time, otherwise I would be left with just the 12" on my laptop and i can't look at that for extended periods of time.

I am considering selling my 15" 1.33 powerbook with 512 RAM and buying a new 12" and an external screen. Just out of curiosity, how much cash would you include with the trade if we were to do this?

Hey, thanks for posting. The cash would depend on which model of the 1.33 15" you have. If you have the one where it was the top of the line, with the illuminated keyboard, then I would put up more then if it wasn't. does it come with the AirPort extreme card and superdrive? Just curious so I can decide what cash I would put up. I'm definitely interested in a trade though, so lets see if we can work something out.

It is the combo drive model stock, except with 512 RAM. So yes, it has Airport Extreme, but no superdrive and no illuminated keyboard.
It is only a few months old, and is in pristine condition. I have all of the original packaging and accessories.

Sorry, not interested in a Windows PC. I have never really used one for extended periods of time other then in my school labs.
