behind you!
My 15 inch apple Studio display, went dead on me yesterday, but my mac still thinks its there, e.g. i can modify its resolution, but its like just the visual aspect of the LCD is broken. After it died it flashed back in to life twice before completely going. Before any one asks, yes i have checked all the connections.

tnx

The backlight (bulb) may have burned out... they have an average life of 10,000 hours for those early LCD panels.

For reference, 10,000 hours of continuous use would be about 416 days or just under 14 months. So I make that out to be about 3-4 years of daily use.

How long have you had the display?

You can probably get a replacement bulb for about $10, though you'll need some soldering and DIY skills.

The entire replacement reflector assembly with probably be $60 -- but not an Apple part.
