View Full Version : 12"ibook AC power adapter and Ipod AC power adapter

To anyone, new to the mac world, just switch from using a PC. I just got my 12" ibook and I noticed the AC power adapter looks the same as my ipod AC power adapter. Are these power adapters interchangeable? Can I use my ibook with the AC power that came with my ipod?

no, they are different.

but...you can use the world traveler adapter kit interchangably :)

I don't know how your would do it. All the iPod power adapter has is a firewire port, and I'm pretty sure the computer can't run off that :rolleyes:.

Maybe in FireWire target mode... :D

But, seriously, even though the form factor it the same, this doesn't meen you can "intercahnge" them, the Airport Express has the same form factor, but I can't use that as power supply either for my iBook nor iPod mini.
