samsung 17in lCD monitor hdtv ready

Hello, are you thinking about it for your mac or just to watch? The only thing that would concern me is the "ready" part since it's not built in. I say that because i'm not sure how big the HD boxes are that convert the picture to HD quality. Now if it's for your mac then I don't know how good of a picture quality it will give you. If you could give a little more info- thanks 🙂
