Which brand of RAM is proven compatible with MBP 2010 15"?

I have 8gigs of G-Skill ram.

pretty much any ram is compatible, as long as you have the right specs.

The general consensus is that Crucial RAM is your best option. It can be found on NewEgg.

I've been reading many threads on RAM and it seems that with crucial no one complained. I'm about to pull the trigger on the Crucial 8GB (2 x 4GB) 204-Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM DDR3 1066 (PC3 8500) Laptop Memory Model CT2KIT51264BC1067 for $90. I too will be using w/ my Mid-2010 15" Macbook Pro i5

Crucial Ram has never let me down (I'm an IT administrator and have upgraded RAM many times, Windows and Mac with Crucial)

If you go on OWC, you can see what types fit your computer. If OWC sells it, it's good stuff.

Agreed. I just installed 8 GB ram in my MBP-15 i5 along with a WD Scorpio Black 750GB from OWC last weekend. Worked great with no issues on either.
