The great part about satires of this kind is that they have the ring of truth. Now I'm not claiming Bush would have said these things, but had he said them, 98% of Republicans would be rushing to his defense, claiming it all made sense somehow. This is exactly how Republicans in Congress are responding to the President's budget.
