Have to reconfigure APE on restart/power on

Hi, I've just switched over to Mac and have been having problems setting up the APE on my G5 iMac.

I have set it up correctly and have connected to my wireless router ok. But each time I restart the computer or do a cold start it forgets the settings.

I have to manually enter the SSID and WEP key each time. Is this normal, surely not?
