I've just ordered a 12" PB (SD/512 RAM).. it hasn’t arrived yet - however I have aspirations of playing WoW and using Maya 6 casually. I know the FX 5200go is a slow gfx card - would 3d performance speed up a great deal by adding a gig or ram ?
any input would be great
Rob
PS :I see a number of sellers on ebay ( eg : http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=11151&item=5163825421&rd=1 ) .. does this look like a good deal ?
Afterall, Crutial are plugging a gig for £301.96 inc. VAT...

300 pounds seems pretty expensive doesnt it? (=$723AUD
in aus i can get 1gig corsair pc3200 (400mhz) delivered for $375AUD (=153 pounds)
unless youre talking about euros of course then
300euro=500aud
375aud=225euro
