Ok, so I have the CATiledLayer subclassed and working well. The content that I show is very specific though (it's a book), so it's very important for me that the tiles show up starting from upper left. By default, if I divide the image into 4 tiles, it loads exactly opposite, i.e. bottom left, bottom right, top right, top left. I tried dividing the image into more tiles, but it seems that upper left tile is always rendered last.
