Hi Guys,

Just like to check if anyone knows how to change the boot icon as couldn't get bootXchanger to work.

No matter how many times I try, it's still the boring grey apple logo..

Would appreciate some help here...

Thx

I didn't know you can actually do that. I will give it a try tonight and let you know if I encountered any issues.

I'm able to change the background color but not the logo.

This appears to be a common problem for both of the 2010 MBAs. Has anyone figured out why?

Try using a PNG or TIFF file. Make sure it isn't too big as well.

It would be cool to have your Mac boot up to a custom pic. Even if it is for a few seconds lol. I'll try reducing my png file even more but even the sample icons it comes with don't boot up. The color changes as expected but not the apple logo.

:( Perhaps someday they will release a patch to fix this issue with bootxchanger changing the background color but not the main icon. (sad face) i really liked my custom black background with this as the icon.
