I was about to try spirit. Not sure if greenpois0n or redsn0w support ipod touch 1G firmware of 3.1.1 or the even the highest I can use is 3.1.3 I believe?

If I remember right I used greenpois0n a few months ago when I jailbroke my first gen.

Just downloaded greenpois0n and read the 'readme' and support for ipod touch 1G was not included. I'll try spirit now.

Thanks, that worked. But wow my ipod 1g is so slow. I'm sure the newer gens are much faster, I hope.
