911...i'm formatting using "8 Way", but i need to stop it! :-(

hi guys...well...the "8 Way" format is taking a LOT longer than i expected...and i'm going to take it into the Apple store this morning at 10am (like 7 hours).

it WON'T be done by then.
is there a way i can stop it without messing it (the HD) up...so then i could just do a normal MAC format???
it's freakin' not even half-way there yet.
i need to stop it :-(

Just kill the diskapp and start a normal format. It worked for my ipod, a couple of months ago, when i discovered how long an 8-way format took...

Didn't we just discuss another thread about this? 8 Way re-formatting is overkill.
