Hello, macrumors. I have written this post to inform you that there IS an app from cydia, that will change the 'iPod' in the top left corner to any text you write. Whats so special? It works on 4.2.1! This app, available from cydia is called "ChangeCarrier" it is free, so go get it!

could you not do this in 4.2.1

I only have 4.1 so maybe in 4.2.1 this feature was disabled. who knows
