Comment: A lovely song from one of the most original female acts.

You're KIDDING right? This song is one of the worst things I've ever heard in my entire life, and the lyrics are dreadful!

Love Kate Bush... never afraid to do her own thing, like Bjork.

This is from The Kick Inside but Hounds of Love is also a good album.

Just one of those strange songs that comes along every once in a while from left field.

Summer 1979, new wave & punk everywhere... then along comes this oddity, unlike nothing you've ever heard before.

While I am not too fond of her earlier stuff (like this one), her later albums like Hounds of Love and Sensual World are brilliant...and I am really looking forward to hearing what the new album sounds like - she's been away for a long time and it is great news that she has said the record will be out this year.

She's not for everyone. Most of my friends hate her, but I just love her voice, her songs and especially her videos. I actually prefer her earlier stuff to her later stuff like Sensual World and The Red Shoes.

The reworked version of the song with new vocals is better than the original IMHO.

And as for Kate, I did dream endlessly about doing very rude and mutually enjoyable things to her when I was a teenager. ;)

Yeah, I also prefer the reworked version that's in the box set, but it's not on iTMS.

And who didn't dream about doing rude, mutually enjoyable things to her? She just looked so... flexible.

I'm looking forward to her new album. I like Sensual World because it was a somewhat dark departure from her usual repertoire.

There's a Czech singer, Lucie Bilia who reminds me a lot of KB, if maybe a little more on the pop side. The nude photo of her on her Uplne Naha album is amazing! I'm gay and have never experienced the joys of the opposite sex but I think she could convince me to give it a try. :D

Really?

A couple of times, I've seen a bright yellow Lotus Elan with the plate K8TE 8USH driving around Hackney... don't know if that means anything.

Really. Never seen her visit though, she sent him a home recorded one off CD for his birthday a few years back, but he doesn't have a CD player so he had to bring in over to ours just to be able to listen to it.

She drives a Jag I think, she wouldn't advertise herself like that.

Up to a few months ago, she lived around the corner from us, I saw her VERY occasionally. I did some work with her and The Trio Bulgarka in Abbey Road a long while back, I was a lowly assistant then. She's completely obsessed with her work, not that it's news I expect.

New album due in a couple of months...

I'll be your best friend if you somehow fish a copy of her new CD for me :)

my wife( then girlfriend) endlessly tortured me with that horrid song during our courtship. just shows the power of love that we married anyway...
