Bloomberg cites a Yuanta Securities Co. research note claiming that the new iPad may be delayed from April to June.
The report by Vincent Chen and Alison Chen, analysts at Yuanta, cited “production bottlenecks” at Hon Hai Precision Industry Co. after Apple made design changes before the Lunar New year.
We've never heard any predictions coming from Yuanta Securities before so we have no idea of their reliability.

All previous reports have pointed to a Q1 launch, possibly in April for the iPad 2.

I wonder how many of these companies that do 'analysis' are paid by competing manufacturers to make bad predictions in order to drive down the stock price of specific companies.
It's a far shot, but I am sure this has to happen in the business world!

Apple products are the only thing that get delayed even before an official release date is set.

I don't think so. Apple wouldn't release the iPhone 5 and iPad 2 within such a close timeframe of eachother. Unless of course the iPhone is coming July/August this year.

I doubt it, the track records for almost every analyst prediction/supply chain "info" seem to be completely awful.

I cried as soon as I read the title.

I hope it's not true. However I would be okay if they come out in June with 2048x1536 resolution

All of you who wanted to wait for iPad 3? Well there it is... They have to skip "iPad 2" in order to compete with all the new tablets coming out soon.. So they need time to redesign and add retina and other stuff :D

Great now I'm gonna have to wait even longer :( well maybe a delay would make it slightly better...doubtful, can't wait to get an iPad! I've been waiting since the announcement of the first iPad for this one to come out..

just my thoughts

This is most definitely UNTRUE.
Retailers in Europe have already started drying up their stock of iPads.
Apple wouldn't start drying up the supply chain if they had made a decision to delay the release.

The End.

Bring on the iPad 2 in a few weeks!

The second-gen iPad might be the most important revision in awhile...2011 is shaping up to be a formative year for the tablet market. I doubt that Apple would leave anything to chance for the 2nd-gen iPad launch...
