My hard drive died (see: https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/110187/ ). And one of the things I'm trying to figure out is if there's a way of reloading all my music off my iPod onto the new hard drive. I'm afraid that when I plug it into the computer it will replace my 30gb of music with the one CD I've imported so far. Is there any way to import all my tunes or am I gonna be ripping CD's for a few days? Thanks.

This question has been asked many times. You can search the forums for the complete discussions. However, the short answer is that yes, this is possible with third-party products. Go to versiontracker.com and search for iPod and you should get at least a half a dozen programs that allow you to do what you propose (and in some cases, more).
