Cool cursor hack.

Dnt know if you guys know about this...but i found it on another forum.

Its great...i now have this cool pulsing radar thing for a wait cursor instead of the lameo beach ball.

so is that a hack to pull the blue ball out of hiding without 10.2 how do i get rid of that crappy old black and white spinner from os9?

I'm getting this error from the Terminal:

Hunk #1 FAILED at 4101.
Hunk #2 FAILED at 4118.
Hunk #3 FAILED at 4135.
Hunk #4 FAILED at 4150.
Hunk #5 FAILED at 4165.
Hunk #6 FAILED at 4180.

I'm lost at the step, where you add the file and "patch CoreGraphics.new", because the Terminal goes into manual typing mode, if I do something else.

Does this work with 10.1.5, as this is what I'm using.

No it makes a brand new design...the hack i used and the diff. file i used made it look like a pulsating shere...its pretty cool, ther are others discussed on the thread i included...great instructions too..i failed my first couple tries but then i got it....it looks sweet.

Heh. No big deal.

I like the spinning colored icon (for 10.1) anyways. But I heard that people are not too happy about it. I think they were expecting something like the old Aqua version of the B/W CD from OS 7. No big deal. :)

BTW: It's a spinning CD, not a freggin' beachball. :eek:

I just can't stand when people keep calling it a beachball or some cr*p. :rolleyes:

The new version definitely looks more like a beachball than a CD, regardless of what it is supposed to be.
