Merge support in Finder... it's about time! Windows 95 had merge support more than 15 years ago! I like OS X, but man, that was very erroneous on Apple's part when OS X first debuted!

Quicktime can record the screen in SL also, but I am unsure if you can specifiy a *portion* of it.
