Aqua is still 100% present in Lion. Aqua is just the name of the UI in OS X. Even if Apple were to replace the look of OS X with crayon drawings it would still be called Aqua. Only reason it wouldn't be called that is if Apple renames it. Which they haven't.

The aqua buttons and progress bars are still there, they've just been tweaked.
It's pretty incredible that until now, the progress bars had remained unchanged since 10.0! :eek:

I thought for sure Apple would go in the direction of iLife and truly get rid of aqua/shininess, but they didn't. Not that I'm complaining, I think it looks quite nice.
