You'd think an outfit like Apple that wants to promote the use of Quicktime 6 with it's fancy MPEG-4 streaming setup would want to use it to prove a stream from Europe works great, instead I have to refresh a page called "Cube-Zone" to get news on iCal and iSync.
Ridiculous,

This is absolutely disgraceful. The Mac community is "supposed" to be the most creative group in the world with using modern media. And here we sit banging the freakign refresh button on a couple of third-tier web sites trying to get a littel news from Paris.
Aboslutely unpardonable. Apple should be streaming this thing!

Yeah, I saw the register option and checked it out. It is very generic and actually asks which Apple product to register. It gives all Apple products as a choice (hardware and software)
Also note the "Provide iCal Feedback" menu, that as of now is a dead link

Apple would make me so happy if they updated iMovie!
Things like better titles!
Real Time effects.... Or at least faster rendering!
Maybe "SCROLLBARS" for the transitions and effects!
Better Video Quality!
The ability to do two effects to one clip... For instance make it black and white then add a water ripple.... Without exporting and importing again!
Better Firewire disk support! What goog are external firewire drives if the mac looses them or can't keep up!
P.S. I am not mac bashing! I love the mac and truley feel it's the best platform for video editing... These are just my suggestions to make it even better!

Ridiculous - a complete waste of time.
The only excuse that I can make for the pisspoor turnout of new products is that Apple didn't want any prospective new releases of software or hardware to be lost in the system, especially when the 1st Anniversary of the September 11 disasters are going to be covered by every news station on the planet tomorrow...

Apple Announces Mac OS X-Only Booting For 2003
APPLE EXPO, PARIS—September 10, 2002—Apple® today announced that starting in January 2003, all new Mac® models will only boot into Mac® OS X as the start-up operating system, though they will retain the ability to run most Mac OS 9 applications through Apple’s bundled “Classic” software. Great news! However, this might help current PM sales by musicians and hardware/os9 dependant people, as it'll probably be the last lot of PMs to natively run OS9. RIP 9!

“Apple and Philips share a vision for the future,” said Gerard Kleisterlee, CEO of Royal Philips Electronics. “We both believe that consumers want devices throughout the home to talk to each other, so that, for example, the music stored in iTunes on your Mac can play through the Philips stereo system in your living room, or the photos stored in iPhoto can be displayed as a stunning slideshow on your Philips Flat TV. Rendezvous helps realize this dream. Philips is particularly pleased that Apple has adopted an open standard and architecture for Rendezvous, and we will support Rendezvous in future Philips products.”

I don't think it posts a .ics file...it creates HTML.
That way people can view it in a browser...they don't have to have iCal. It must embed the .ics file also, though because people can load your cal into their own iCal if they have it.

Nope - it "publishes" .ics files; you only get the "HTML" view if you publish to .Mac.
See my example ("published" to a Solaris 8 server running Apache 1.3.26 and mod_dav):
http://calendar.mrbill.net
As you can see, just plain .ics files. I'm currently looking for an application I can put up there that will parse the .ics files into something presentable on a web page.
Printed calendars from iCal are spiffy - I've made a couple of PDFs..
