This is half of a pointless thread but it might inform some other people who may not have known either.
I have spent the past 2 years looking for a decent (free) screen recorder. Then it hit me to check the Mac App Store. Didn't find what I was looking for BUT a reviewer stated "This does nothing more than what Quicktime X can do... don't download!"
I went in to Quicktime and BAM there it was. Now, it's not glutted with features but it most definitely gets the job done and I'm quite impressed. Who knew!? 😱 😀
