Everyone wants to have the biggest iTunes Library- but who has the oldest?

I created mine October 29 2005.

Who has an older one?

On a completely unrelated topic (sorry to hijack)... how come sometimes when you update iTunes, it creates a "previous iTunes library", and on other updates this is not created?? Does anyone know?

Just another one of my Jack Handy Deep Thoughts.

The oldest 'Date Added' for any of my songs is August 23, 2006 (the day I got my first mac).

June 22 2005

Apparently June 22, 2005.

First time I converted a CD into an mp3 was back in 1997 with a DOS based Fraunhofer compression utility. I started using iTunes in 2004.

The oldest mp3 file I have on here now is one in my classical music library that says it was encoded by iTunes 3.0.1, January 5, 2003. I don't know which machine I brought over from, probably a g3 ibook.

Mine is certainly not the oldest, but my first 'date added' is April 12, 2003. :apple: And first iTunes purchase is April 30, 2003.
