ATV2 USB Cable

Hi all,

Just got an ATV2 today and looking to jb it but what kind of cable is that? My micro USB won't fit, is it mini USB?

Yes, it's mini-usb

Are you sure? Apple's page says Micro-USB, and I certainly couldn't physically fit a Mini-USB connector in my AppleTV 2...

I believe it is a Micro-USB type B that's required.

No, I don't think this cable will work.

I definitely believe the ATV2 = microUSB.

Your current cable might be a miniUSB?

It is micro-usb. I just JB'd my ATV using a blackberry micro-usb sync cable. Super easy. Micro-usb is "skinnier" than mini-usb.

I just JB'd mine too. I installed XBMC and it's great. I even put the bluecop repo in my video sources and it's great to finally be able to watch Hulu and other network streams on this device 😀

After you do this back out of XBMC and then go back in and Hulu will be on the list of add ons
