Im not sure if there already is a thread about this subject, but I was wondering if it is a good decision to sell my 9 months old Macbook Pro i7 2.66Ghz and buy the new 2011 low end 15 inch model? I can sell my old one (with a dent) for 1500 euro and buy the new one for 1575 euro with studentprice. So basically for about 100 dollar I can get a brand new MBP with warranty!

I am using my mbp for 3D modelling and video editing like After Effects...would the 2.0Ghz be good enough for it? Or is my old one more suitable?

Here in the Netherlands a new MBP 2010 i7 2.66Ghz has a price of 1850 euro while the new 2011 MBP 2.0GHz is being sold for 1750 euro...How can it be possible that the new one is cheaper than the old one?!

Thanks in advance for answers!
