Apple Cinema Display 20" update? not a good time to buy one?

What do you get out of the 1-3 shipping on the 20 Apple Cinema display? Should i still buy one, i was planning on buying it within the next two days? i really doubt that it will be updated anytime soon.

Go for it dude. Apple doesn't update their displays that often. I have one to complement my PowerBook. I give it 10/10

Buy it. It will not be updated for a long time.

thanks guys, i figured. i am about to purchase my dual 1.8 with 20" apple cinema display and am just getting the pre-purchase gitters *should i wait or not* kind of question. I figured, i just gotta buy it.

Before you blow all that money on an Apple display, make sure you check out Dell's 2005FPW first.

I got the 20" ACD and I am more than happy with it. I can imagine that the 2-3 day ship time is just supply problems as the current ACD was released just 8 Months ago. I doubt we will see much changes in Apple's Display line up for another year or so.

I think the 20" is a good value, for its styling, ports and quality. Education discount helps too. Can't say the same for the 23"... that price is ridiculous for three more inches. 😕
