Is the 3G service in Ipad2 is locked For US only

Hi,

I am planning to buy Ipad2 with 3G from Apple Store in USA

My question is, can I use the 3G service in this ipad when I take it back home,
or it is locked and only to be used in US

AT&T iPads are not locked. I purchased two iPads from the US that came with AT&T SIM cards and I'm using them in Spain with Movistar SIM cards.

We've returned to the states and used the AT&T SIM for a few months and they worked fine.
