Hi there,

Just wondering if there is a way to display your username logged in on the top bar along with the wireless connection, date and other apps running in the background. I've seen this on my friend's iBook but is it because he has multiple usernames defined and logs in as himself?

Just wondering.. Thanks 🙂

Your friend has Fast User Switching enabled. It can be toggled on/off in the Accounts pane of the System Preferences 🙂

Also, if you hold the apple key, and click the user name up there, once you turn on fast user switching, you can re-arrange it (and the other widgets) so that it is where you want it, with respect to the time and the airport icon and so on. 🙂
