If you want to use a mini CD with a slot-loading drive, you need a "wrap", basically a plastic thing that you insert the mini CD in to make it into a regular-sized CD.

That's not true, some of the iMac DVs slot loading drives use to work with mini CDs. I have also heard that most of the new model slot loading drives work with mini CDs.
